A bright, fresh sapphire in a light spring green with a clear yellow undertone. In person the stone glows from within: its lighter tone lets light travel freely through the pear, and warm golden-green flashes scatter across the crown as it turns, giving it a cheerful, sparkling character. The cut is well balanced, with no washed-out center and no dark bow-tie across its width, so the color reads evenly over the whole face. It is eye clean, keeping the green crisp and clear. IGI has examined the stone and reports indications of heating, a long-established and stable treatment in sapphire; its color is permanent.
