A vivid, juicy green sapphire with a cool, clean tone and no trace of yellow. In person the color is saturated and fresh: deep green fills the pear evenly, while bright flashes with a faint cool edge flicker across the crown as it moves, keeping the stone crisp and lively rather than heavy. The cut is well balanced, with no washed-out center and no dark band across its width. It is eye clean, so the green reads pure and continuous. IGI has examined the stone and reports indications of heating, a long-established and stable treatment in sapphire; the color is permanent.
