Sapphire

Gemologist’s Note
Under a carat, most pink sapphires drift toward pale or wash out under light — the saturation that makes “hot pink” possible usually only survives in larger stones. This one holds it at 0.98 carats: a vivid, electric pink with real depth, not a pastel pretending to be bold. Eye clean, with the oval mixed cut keeping the face bright edge to edge and strong scintillation throughout. IGI confirms natural corundum with no indications of heating — full, untreated saturation at this size, with this clarity, is the exception rather than the rule. It’s a stone that punches well above its weight.
