Emerald

Gemologist’s Note
A Russian emerald of substantial 4.98 carats, IGI-confirmed as Ural in origin, with a deep, vivid green carrying that distinctive bluish cast prized in the finest Ural material. It’s bright and transparent — light travels cleanly through the stone, letting the saturation read true from every angle — and its cut cornered rectangular step cut gives the color a dignified, classic emerald presence. Its natural inclusions are the honest signature of a genuine beryl. Like nearly all emeralds it shows indications of clarity enhancement, the standard accepted treatment. A rich, transparent Ural emerald near the five-carat mark, with confirmed provenance and real depth of color.
