A large 2.88-carat Russian emerald, IGI-confirmed as Ural in origin, in a striking elongated baguette that stretches its size along the finger. The color is a warm, vivid grass-green — fresh and bright rather than cool. This is a stone that lives through its interior: it carries an abundant natural garden of silk, and rather than dulling it, those dense fine inclusions catch and scatter light so the whole stone seems to glow softly from within — a velvety, living green that only untreated, earth-grown beryl produces. Like nearly all emeralds it shows indications of clarity enhancement, the standard accepted treatment. A large, elongated Ural emerald full of inner light and natural character.
