A deep, pure green sapphire with rich saturation and a cool, velvety tone. In person the color is dense and intense: the elongated oval carries a lush green through its center, while darker edges frame it and bright green sparks flash from the pavilion as the stone moves, giving it depth and a quiet glow. Its proportions give it a generous face-up size for its weight, and it is eye clean, so the green reads smooth and uninterrupted. IGI has examined the stone and reports indications of heating, a traditional and stable treatment in sapphire; the color is permanent.
