IGI confirms natural corundum with no indications of heating — full, even saturation like this in untreated purple sapphire is genuinely uncommon, since most of the deep, consistent purple material on the market has been heat-enhanced to get there. At 1.33 carats it reads bigger than its weight and cleaner than its rarity would suggest.
