Heart cuts are a difficult shape to execute in sapphire — the cleft and point both concentrate stress, so cutters often lose saturation at the corners to protect the shape. This one keeps its color dense and even all the way to the point, with something unusual layered on top: a soft opalescence that moves across the surface as the stone turns, a sheen you don't typically see in faceted corundum. Loupe clean, unheated, at just over a carat. GFCO confirms natural corundum from Sri Lanka with no indications of heating. Between the shape, the color, and that quiet inner glow, it reads more like a stone with a personality than a stone with a spec sheet.
