Russian Sapphire

Gemologist’s Note
A textbook example of Sutara material — the soft, yellowish-olive tone this deposit is best known for, at 0.66 carats in a clean, classic step cut. A single striking inclusion crosses the pavilion, a bright feather catching light as the stone turns — proof of natural origin worn openly rather than hidden. Despite the gentle tone, the stone stays lively face-up, light moving through the open step-cut windows rather than sitting flat. GFCO confirms no heat, no treatment, Sutara origin.
