Russian Sapphire

Gemologist’s Note
A distinctly bicolor stone — the pavilion shifts visibly from a warm golden tone at one end toward a cooler, more saturated green at the other, a zoning effect this deposit produces only rarely in such a legible, face-up form. At just over a carat, the step cut keeps both halves of that color story on full display rather than blending them into a single average tone. Light travels actively through the open windows, giving the stone real life despite its architectural lines. GFCO confirms no heat, no treatment, Sutara origin; the bicolor character is an in-hand observation.
