Emerald

Gemologist’s Note
A Russian emerald of a good, wearable 2.66 carats, IGI-confirmed as Ural in origin, with the cool bluish-green cast prized in Ural material. It's bright and transparent — light passes cleanly through the stone, giving the green real life — and its shallow, wide step cut means it faces up larger than its weight. Its natural inclusions are the honest signature of a genuine beryl. Like nearly all emeralds it shows indications of clarity enhancement, the standard accepted treatment. A lively, transparent Ural emerald in a classic emerald cut, with confirmed provenance and good presence on the finger.
