A Russian demantoid of 1.530 carats, cut as a round in the Russian style with good proportions. The color is a bright, saturated green of real intensity. What makes this stone unusual is its interior: three or four separate horsetail inclusions, each a distinct radiating spray of golden byssolite, overlapping to create a landscape inside the stone rather than a single centered burst. Against the strength of the green, the effect is a world of its own — and it is the clearest possible confirmation of Uralian origin. A demantoid of beautiful size and color with an interior no other stone will repeat.
