A Russian demantoid of 0.50 carats, round brilliant cut, from the Korkodino deposit. The color is a vivid, saturated green, and the stone's real strength is how it performs: dispersion here is exceptional, breaking into flashes of color across the crown that few demantoid of this size manage to combine with such depth of tone — brilliance and saturation are often a trade-off in this material, and this stone gets both. A horsetail inclusion runs through the center, fine and well-formed, confirming Uralian origin without competing with the stone's fire. A small demantoid that trades on none of the usual compromises — full color, full sparkle, and the horsetail to prove where it came from.
