Alexandrite

Gemologist’s Note
Transparency is the first thing that stands out on this 0.71-carat pear from Malyshevo — light passes through with a clarity that lets both color states show clean and true rather than fighting past internal texture to be seen. Daylight reveals a bright bluish green with real transparency behind it; under incandescent light the stone shifts into a soft purple that reads just as clearly. It's a small stone, but an eye-clean one, and that clarity is exactly what makes the color change legible at every angle rather than only in the right light.
