Alexandrite

Gemologist’s Note
Another richly saturated oval from this Malyshevo lot, at 0.52 carats. The daylight color runs a deep, dense green with real weight to the tone; under incandescent light it commits fully to a dark, saturated purple rather than easing into something lighter. This is a stone built on depth of color rather than brightness — the kind of tonal intensity that reads as substantial well past what its half-carat weight would suggest.
