Alexandrite

Gemologist’s Note
Not every alexandrite from Malyshevo needs to shout to be genuine. At 0.41 carats, this small oval shows the effect in its quieter register — a light bluish green in daylight easing into a soft, gray-toned purple under incandescent light, present and legible rather than dramatic. It's an entry point into real Ural material: the same origin, the same underlying mechanism, scaled down to a size and a subtlety that suits a modest setting or a first step into the variety rather than a statement piece. Honest, small, and unmistakably alexandrite.
