Alexandrite

Gemologist’s Note
Clarity like this is not something Malyshevo alexandrite gives up easily — this 0.35-carat oval is eye clean, with none of the milkiness or heavy silk that mutes so much material from this deposit. The color carries the same confidence: a vivid, saturated bluish-green in daylight that turns over into a deep, rich purple under incandescent light, the transition full and unhesitant rather than partial. Oval faceting gives the color room to spread evenly across a longer face, and with the stone eye clean behind it, both color states read with real clarity rather than through a haze. A strong stone in every sense — color, change, and the transparency to show both off properly.
