Alexandrite

Gemologist’s Note
A compact, well-proportioned oval at 0.91 carats, this Malyshevo stone brings the change in a smaller, more wearable size than most of what's come through this lineup — the kind of weight that sits comfortably in a ring rather than demanding a pendant. In daylight it shows a soft bluish green with a gentle, even tone across the face; under incandescent light it moves into a muted, dusty purple, quieter than the deposit's most dramatic examples but unmistakably alexandrite. The oval cut keeps the proportions classic and the light return consistent, letting the color change read clearly even at under a carat.
