An unheated sapphire in a strong, saturated teal, with blue and green locked together in a rich, full-bodied tone. In person the stone is vivid and lively: deep teal fills the face, while bright aqua sparks and the occasional warm flash of reflected light dance across the facets as it moves, giving it energy alongside its depth. The cut keeps color even across the face, with no pale center. It is eye clean, so the teal reads clear and intense throughout. IGI has examined the stone and found no indications of heating: a teal of this strength and saturation, entirely as it formed in nature, is a rare thing in sapphire.
