An unheated sapphire in a deep, saturated teal with green taking the lead and blue running underneath. In person the stone is bright and full of play: the face holds a rich, dark blue-green, while the crown edges and pavilion throw off quick flashes of aqua and fresh green as it moves, lifting the depth of the color with real sparkle. The cut keeps the face filled with color, with no pale center. It is eye clean, so the teal reads dense and unbroken. IGI has examined the stone and found no indications of heating; this color is entirely as nature made it.
