An unheated sapphire in a rich, bright green, lit by juicy flashes of blue-teal. In person the stone is lively and full of light: a well-executed cut keeps the face bright, with no pale or empty center, while saturated blue and aqua sparks flare from the crown and pavilion as it moves. Under close inspection it reveals fine natural silk and small crystals, the inner landscape of an untouched sapphire, but face-up they do not dull its brightness or color. IGI has examined the stone and found no indications of heating; its color and inner character are entirely as nature made them.
