Teal Sapphire

Gemologist’s Note
An unheated bi-color sapphire in which deep blue and fresh green meet within a single stone, blending into a rich, saturated teal. In person it is vivid and full of play: the center of the stone holds a deep blue-teal, while the outer facets light up in bright mint and aqua green, so the color seems to glow outward from a cool, dark core. As the stone moves, the two tones shift and trade places, giving it constant life. It is eye clean, letting the transition between blue and green read clearly. IGI has examined it, identified it as a bi-color sapphire and found no indications of heating; both colors are entirely natural.
