This 1.83 carat oval-cut sapphire is a product of Chanthaburi, Thailand. The color is a pleasant green with a faint teal undertone and light zoning visible within the body of the stone. Clarity is very good – aside from a single small pinpoint inclusion near the center, the stone would read fully eye clean. In hand it's genuinely lively, with good brilliance returning across the oval face. The color owes its full expression to heat treatment, confirmed by a Chanthaburi Gemological Laboratory (GLC) report.
