This substantial 2.09 carat oval-cut sapphire is a product of Chanthaburi, Thailand. The color is a deep, rich green with excellent saturation held evenly across the whole oval face, reading dark and lush rather than pale or washed out. Clarity is excellent, with the stone reading clean to the eye and strong transparency throughout. At over 2 carats, it has real presence and substance. In hand it's genuinely lively, with strong, even brilliance returning across the facets.
