Emerald

Gemologist’s Note
A Russian emerald in an accessible one-carat size, IGI-confirmed as Ural in origin — provenance that matters as much at this size as at any other. The color is a lively green with the cool, faintly bluish cast that Ural material is known for, the character that sets it apart from warmer greens. Its interior is rich with natural silk; rather than dulling the stone, the fine inclusions scatter light so it seems to glow softly from within — the honest, living signature of a natural beryl. Like nearly all emeralds it shows indications of clarity enhancement, the standard accepted treatment. A true Ural emerald with genuine bluish-green character in a wearable, one-carat size.
