A Russian demantoid of 0.980 carats, cut as a round brilliant in the Russian style, from the Korkodino deposit. The color is a bright, true green of classic saturation. The horsetail here is exceptional for the stone's size — several distinct rays of golden byssolite radiate from the center in a full, well-formed spray, rare both in its beauty and in how cleanly it sits within the stone without clouding the face. To the naked eye the demantoid reads bright, lively, and visually clean, with strong scintillation across every facet. A demantoid where an outstanding horsetail and true brilliance coexist — a combination seldom found together at this weight.
