A Russian demantoid of 0.52 carats, cut as a round brilliant in the Russian style, from the Korkodino deposit. The color is a classic, vivid green of bright, true saturation — the archetypal demantoid tone. A soft horsetail radiates from the center in fine, delicate golden byssolite fibers, giving the interior a gentle glow without overwhelming the clarity of the stone. Light returns crisply across the whole face, with strong scintillation typical of well-proportioned Russian-cut material. A demantoid that represents the classic Uralian type at its best.
