A Russian demantoid of 0.61 carats from the Poldnevskoye deposit, cut as an octagon — the same rare step-cut style seen only occasionally in this material. The color is a bright, clean vivid green, and the long, open facets let it move across the stone in broad, deliberate flashes rather than scattered points of light. Fine internal texture confirms Uralian origin. A smaller demantoid, but the octagon cut gives it a presence and geometry that few examples of this size carry.
