A Russian demantoid of 0.85 carats from the Poldnevskoye deposit, cut as a trillion — a shape rarely seen in this material, where the round brilliant dominates almost universally. The color is a vivid, saturated green, and the trillion cut suits it well: the broad triangular facets open wide, giving the dispersion room to spread into sweeping flashes of light rather than tight pinpoints. Fine threads of byssolite are visible at the center, confirming Uralian origin without disrupting the stone's clarity. A demantoid of real size and color, cut in a shape collectors rarely get to see it in.
