A Russian demantoid of 0.495 carats, round brilliant cut, from the Poldnevskoye deposit. The color is a bright, light yellow-green, closer to the tone of peridot than to the deeper greens typical of the material — an unusual and striking departure within the demantoid family. The cut is clean and well-proportioned, letting the pale color read as luminous rather than washed out. A demantoid for those drawn to the lighter, brighter end of the material's color range, distinct from the deep forest tones most collectors expect.
