A Russian Demantoid of 1.24 carats, cut as a round brilliant in the Russian style, from the Korkodino deposit. The color is a deep, vivid green of real saturation, holding its intensity evenly from girdle to center. Under magnification, a radiating horsetail spreads outward from the culet in fine golden byssolite fibers — visible only on close inspection, and to the naked eye the stone reads clean and brilliant, with strong scintillation across every facet. A Demantoid that combines the classic Russian horsetail with an exceptionally clean face-up appearance.
