Russian Sapphire

Gemologist’s Note
The only round in this collection, and at just over two carats it carries real weight — literally and visually. The color runs dark and dense, a true taiga green: the deep conifer tone of the Siberian forest itself, closer to what one expects from fine emerald than from the lighter, brighter stones this deposit typically yields. The brilliant crown throws light hard against that depth, and the stone holds its color even where the facets go dark, rather than washing out at the edges. Fine internal texture runs throughout — honest, natural character no synthetic bothers to replicate. GFCO confirms no heat, no treatment, Sutara origin.
