Ruby

Gemologist’s Note
An unheated ruby confirmed by two independent laboratories: GIA gives it a full origin report — Madagascar, no indications of heating — and GLC independently reaches the same no-heat conclusion. That combination puts this stone in a genuinely small minority of the market. It's cut as a graceful pear in a rich, deep red, transparent and glowing where the light catches it. The stone carries its natural inclusions honestly — fine markings and crystals that are the untouched fingerprint of a ruby that never saw heat; on an unheated stone these aren't flaws so much as proof of an entirely natural gem. Its shallow, wide cut also lets it face up larger than its 1.24 carats. For a collector, the appeal is straightforward: an unheated ruby with two independent lab reports, whose color and interior are exactly as the earth made them.
