Emerald

Gemologist’s Note
A 2.45-carat Russian emerald, IGI-confirmed as Ural in origin. The color is a rich, lively green — brighter and more vivid than most, coming through cleanly across an even, well-balanced cut that keeps the whole face alive with light. It's also notably clean for an emerald of this size: the species is defined by its inclusions, and larger stones usually show more of them, so a 2.5-carat Ural emerald that reads this open to the eye is genuinely welcome. Like nearly all emeralds it shows indications of clarity enhancement, the standard, accepted treatment. A bright, clean-for-its-kind Ural emerald with confirmed provenance and real presence on the finger.
