A Russian demantoid of 0.50 carats, round brilliant cut, from the Korkodino deposit. The color is a rich, clean vivid green, bright without tipping into the scattered fire of a lighter stone or the density of a darker one — a genuinely balanced tone. The cut brings out real brilliance across the whole face, and at the center a horsetail inclusion radiates outward in fine, well-formed byssolite fibers, clearly visible and confirming Uralian origin. Where some demantoid lead with color, or with fire, or with the horsetail alone, this one holds all three in equal measure — a complete example of what makes the material collectible.
