A Russian demantoid of 0.255 carats from the Korkodino deposit, cut as an oval. The color is a deep, vivid green, held with remarkable consistency across the full length of the stone — ovals often show color zoning toward the ends, and this one does not. Fine byssolite threads are visible within, running diagonally near the girdle, confirming Uralian origin. A demantoid where the color alone is the reason to look twice — even at this small size, it holds a saturation that many larger stones don't reach.
