A Russian demantoid of 0.245 carats, round brilliant cut, from the Korkodino deposit. The color is exceptional for the material: a deep, dense green that pushes toward near-black at the center under normal light, opening into vivid green only where the facets catch direct light at an angle — a saturation level rarely seen in stones this small. A horsetail inclusion is present, running through the body of the stone and confirming Uralian origin, though it takes a back seat here to the depth of the color itself. Small in size but carrying a tone that most demantoid, regardless of carat weight, simply doesn't reach.
