A Russian demantoid of 0.45 carats, round brilliant cut, from the Polar Urals — a locality rarely seen even within Uralian material, and one Marianovich Gems sourced directly from the deposit owner. The color is a bright, glassy green with real clarity of tone, and even at this small size it holds its saturation edge to edge. At the center, a well-developed horsetail spreads outward in fine, closely packed byssolite fibers, sharply visible and textbook in form — confirmation, alongside the locality itself, of genuine Uralian origin. The Russian cut is clean and well-proportioned, letting the small stone punch above its size. A demantoid whose rarity lies as much in where it came from as in what's inside it.
