Alexandrite

Gemologist’s Note
At just 0.155 carats, this is a miniature from Malyshevo — an elongated pear cut small and precise, with a transparency that reads clearly through both color states. Daylight brings a light bluish green; incandescent light carries it into a soft, clean purple. Its size makes it what it is: an accent-scale stone, the kind used to prove authenticity or complete a set, where clarity matters more than presence. And this one is exactly that clean — light passes through with none of the internal haze that clouds so much small-format material from this deposit.
