A Russian demantoid of 0.525 carats, round brilliant cut, from the Korkodino deposit. The color is a deep, saturated forest green, dense and even across the whole crown, with none of the brightening toward olive that softer stones show. What sets this one apart is its interior: the byssolite fibers are not confined to a single spray but spread outward in a dense, cloud-like mass that fills nearly the entire stone, moving with it as it turns rather than sitting still. In person the effect is remarkably lively — the inclusions read as motion rather than obstruction, and the stone's fire and dispersion come through clearly around them. A small demantoid with an outsized personality, and a horsetail that dominates the stone without ever working against it.
