Alexandrite

Gemologist’s Note
At 0.16 carats, this round alexandrite trades intensity for personality — a light, silvery green-gray in daylight that turns to a soft mauve-pink under incandescent light, a gentler shift than the deposit's strongest examples but a lively one nonetheless. What the color lacks in saturation, the cut supplies in energy: round brilliant faceting sends light bouncing across the face in constant motion, keeping the stone animated even at this modest weight. It's a small, understated alexandrite that rewards a closer look rather than announcing itself from across the room — Malyshevo material in one of its more restrained, more wearable moods.
