Aquamarine

Gemologist’s Note
The largest and most exceptional stone in this collection. A fancy tapered trapezoid of striking scale, its broad cushion-like face and sweeping facet pattern generate an unusually lively play of light for a stone of this size. Clarity is loupe clean, with no inclusions visible under 10x magnification – a rare achievement at nearly 47 carats. Sourced from the Volyn pegmatite chambers of Ukraine, where aquamarine occurs only as an exceptionally rare byproduct; a stone of this size and cleanliness represents an outstanding specimen for the locality.
